The Biden administration's decision to authorize the use of long-range American missiles by Ukraine represents a crucial turning point in the ongoing conflict. Ukrainian officials are now equipped to launch strikes deeper into Russian territory, which has raised alarms in Moscow. Both military analysts and Russian officials view this as not just a tactical enhancement for Ukraine but as a dangerous escalation that could involve NATO and heighten the risk of direct confrontation with Russia.
In response to the increased military support from the US, Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that such moves could change the nature of the conflict and increase the risks of nuclear engagement. The Russian government has issued stern warnings against the US and its allies, indicating a willingness to respond with force if deemed necessary. This has prompted speculation about potential military strategies Russia may employ moving forward, with some officials even citing the possibility of an escalation akin to World War I.
Life in Moscow, while mostly normal, reflects a nation on edge with the news of US-supported missile strikes. Citizens express a range of perspectives, from indifference to heightened anxiety. The perception of safety in major urban areas contrasts with the realities of war closer to the front lines, revealing a society grappling with the effects of prolonged conflict. Public opinion seems divided, influencing the Kremlin’s propaganda narratives and highlighting the complexities of social mood in wartime.
In a significant escalation of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, President Joe Biden’s administration has granted Ukraine permission to deploy American-made long-range missiles against targets deep within Russia. This decision has been marked as a pivotal shift, entering uncharted waters in the Russia-Ukraine war as it marks the 1,000th day of the conflict. Moscow correspondent Yulia Shavala reports from the Russian capital, detailing the intense developments and reactions following this unprecedented military support for Ukraine. The announcement of missile support was met with severe backlash in Russia, with President Vladimir Putin condemning the decision as a direct threat and indicating that it may lower the threshold for nuclear engagement. The long-range capabilities of these missiles could, according to experts, reach not only border areas but also major cities inside Russia, raising concerns about the sustained escalation of military conflict. The US has temporarily closed its embassy in Kiev due to security threats, highlighting the increasing volatility on the ground. Observations from citizens in Moscow show a mix of fear and normalcy, as everyday life continues while news of missile strikes looms large. The public reaction ranges significantly across different demographics, indicating a complex response to the escalating crisis and potential for increased military actions in the coming days.Yeah, unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine at this point. Hitlers Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender. Post war settlement is Russias business.
Yeah I can hear people complaining about Ukraine attacking Russia but if you ask yourself who starts the war against each other so many countries have the right to sport Ukraine

People need recognize that Ukraine war is the political conflict between US-NATO alliance and Russia. Although NATO was founded against Warsaw pact founded by Soviet Union during Cold War, it still exists and has been expanding its membership towards Eastern Europe. This has been a great threat to Russia, and as Ukraine was the last country that attempted to join NATO by too innocent Zelensky who fully depended on the US, this became the trigger of Ukraine war and the reason why the war still contuinues for almost two years. Also, remember that US is also responsible for this war. After the fall of Soviet, as Ukraine became the country with the largest number of nuclear weapons, US felt threatened by Ukraine and thus Bill Clintion administration suggested economic and military support to Ukraine with the condition to up their nuclear weapons. This made Ukraine vulnerable to Russia’s threat, but US did not react properly. Even when Russia attacked Donbass region and annexed Crimean peninsula, US and NATO did not pay attention at all. Now, it is also being told that Zelensky is using the war as a means to perserve his presidency under the situation where lots of evidence is being revealed regarding his corruption. Make sure to look up news from various sources as the explosion of gas pipe connected to Europe was known for Russia’s action was in fact the cooperation between the US and Norwegian government.
