Jabar's journey to Cairo and Ontario raises significant concerns regarding his connections and intentions. These trips, occurring just ahead of his return to the US, show a deliberate exploration of avenues that could have influenced his later actions. Investigators are keen to unearth any links to radical activities or networks that may have facilitated his plans.

Understanding Jabar's Actions in New Orleans

The two notable trips Jabar made to New Orleans unveil crucial context about his operational behavior. By recording his surroundings and appearing in public spaces, he might have been familiarizing himself with potential targets. This warrants a closer examination of how susceptible tourist areas might be to similar threats in the future.

The Unraveling Evidence and Ongoing Investigation

With the recovery of firearms and explosives, the investigation highlights the seriousness of Jabar's intent. Ongoing analyses of the transaction leading to his firearm acquisition are crucial to understanding any existing networks. Authorities emphasize the need for vigilance as they continue piecing together the mysterious elements of this case.

The investigation into Jabar's involvement in the recent attacks in New Orleans has uncovered significant travel history and alarming connections. Jabar traveled to Cairo, Egypt, from June 22 to July 3, 2023, and later flew to Ontario, Canada, on July 10, returning to the United States on July 13. Authorities are actively trying to determine how these trips may be linked to his activities in New Orleans. Notably, Jabar made at least two trips to New Orleans prior to the attacks, confirming his presence in the area, where he also recorded a video in the French Quarter while using Meta glasses. ### Timeline of Jabar's Activities The timeline regarding Jabar's activities is critical in understanding his motives. Jabar was seen in New Orleans from October 30, 2024, where he stayed for two days. During his visit, he recorded footage while biking through the city, which adds to the growing evidence of his premeditated actions against public safety. Investigators have also confirmed his presence in New Orleans on November 10, providing authorities with more context as they piece together his movements leading up to the assaults. ### Attack Details and Investigation Findings Continuing the investigation, detectives have traced Jabar's whereabouts on New Year's Eve, December 31. He was noted to have visited multiple gun stores in Texas before successfully accessing the necessary equipment to execute his plans. Evidence shows he placed improvised explosive devices (IEDs) strategically on Bourbon Street shortly after midnight. This harrowing approach involved using his rented vehicle for hiding crucial items, including the long brown coat that was recovered later, providing further links to the ongoing investigation. ### Examination of Weapons and Devices Details have emerged about the firearms used by Jabar during the attacks. The recovery process indicated that a semi-automatic pistol and a rifle, specifically a .308 caliber, were part of his arsenal. Importantly, an analysis of the IEDs revealed they were equipped with receivers and a transmitter, suggesting Jabar had a comprehensive plan in place. Fortunately, law enforcement acted promptly to stop him from triggering the devices. Investigators have concluded, based on the current evidence, that Jabar acted alone without any known accomplices, although they continue to explore potential connections both domestically and internationally.

@amphetaminezerodream

It always amazes me that Americans think we dont have cities, towns, villages, etc. Just Ontario, Canada! Just a vast country and provinces with no smaller divisions further than that! Do their maps just stop at the northern and southern borders?!?! HERE THERE BE DRAGONS. Or do they just not look up?! A city would be helpful when you publicly announce a terrorist visited my province! Would be nice to know if it were my city!

@ManitobaViking

Pierre Poilievre for PM now!! 🇨🇦

@mchelseama

Research the mosque he attended and the radical imam who led it.

@BestCoastLife

He traveled to Egypt and Canada in summer of 2023….this is big news? America, the call is coming from inside the house. The man was born, raised and radicalised in the USA. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@F.H.

Not because he.s travelling to Canada n Egypt means that everyone he has ever spoken with knew about his plans. After serving n US military n killing people plus a divorce n owing 50grand in debt ...bt especially killing people in foreign countries is murder...there n here too. US government might wanna look into the PTSD tht these veterans go through n the guilt they face after serving in their army! Dont try n get Canada n Egypt involved...millionzzzzz of people visit those places! Oh ya...n they might wanna look into their bloody gun laws..n the fact that most guns in Canada n Trinidad n other countries come from USA!! I am definitely not condoning his actions and feel very sad for the victims....but that damn government needs to take responsibility for their gun laws n the murder that their soldiers commit in the Middle East to innocent civilians. In NY...ppl r killing ppl like flies n again affiliated w being ex soldiers that served in Afghanistan etc

@ktefccre

😢 very sad. I hope the police in Cairo and Ontario are able to help

@Darius-r8u

Canada and Egypt. Two hot bed nations filled with muslim extremists.

@ordinarycitizen-v5n

Fix your title. It gives the impression that theres a place in Canada named Egypt. Try Egypt and Canada as well as going to back to school. Do Americans have the right to piss and moan about which firearms and how their citizens get them? Maybe they should scrap their 2nd amendment to save a few more people and a ton of school aged children.

@svc2461

Shame on YT for deleting comments speaking about the vile doctrine driving these actions.
